Question:
I have recently been to my banker and have been approved for a mortgage. Why should I use a REALTOR®?

Answer:
A REALTOR® is a trained professional ready to assist you in your selection of a home. The REALTOR® has a high degree of familiarity of all properties on the MLS® system, can give you an opinion of value so you know you are paying a fair price, and can give assistance with those inspections and documents you may need in buying a home.

A REALTOR® is a user of the MLS® system which gives them the edge to newly listed property which fits your criteria. Property already listed on the MLS® system allows the REALTOR® the ability to search properties that fit your list of wants to assist you making decisions on viewings before hand. The REALTOR® makes the appointments and arrangements to view your selections so that all you need do is show up. If a selection is made the REALTOR® can provide you with choices of inspections and documents that help support the property you have chosen. The REALTOR® will assemble and forward those documents that your financial institution requires for mortgage approval, as well as, the documents to your lawyer for the transfer of title.

So the answer to your question is YES! A REALTOR® will provide you with the peace of mind to know you have made the right choice and paid the right price for your home.
