The basic requirements you need to take the Phase 1 “Real Estate as a Professional Career” are as follows;
- proof of high school diploma in Canada or equivalency
- a criminal records check from local police authority
- purchase and completion of the Phase 1 course and successfully writing the final examination attaining a 70% or better mark
- within 6 months of completion of Phase 1 you must purchase and complete Phase 2 attaining the same mark
- within 6 months of completing Phase 2 you must contact the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission for licensing in the province as salesperson, and pay the required fees
- within 2 years of completion of Phase 2 you must purchase and complete two additional courses again attaining a passing mark of 70% or better
- attend Continuous Professional Development Course yearly including the year you are licensed
- fulfill any requirements that the local board has regarding licensing of new members
